The man who was tragically found dead at a busy holiday park in Inverclyde has been named.

At around 12.05am on Sunday, September 14, Raymond Cosgrove, 33, was found injured on Rothesay Gardens at Wemyss Bay Holiday Park .

Despite emergency services ' efforts, Raymond was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A young man, aged 21, has been arrested and charged in connection with the death. He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 16.

CID and forensic officers were seen scouring the area where Raymond was found yesterday afternoon.

His family is currently being supported by a specialist team.
