$1,000 grant to expand 9/11 Memorial in Clear Lake

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa — Clear Lake has been awarded a $1,000 Commitment to Community grant at the Caselle, Inc. 2025 Midwest User Conference.

The grant will aid the Clear Lake Fire Department in expanding the 9/11 Memorial with a bronze firefighter statue. This project is set to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unity within the community.

Jacob Widman, Director of Finance & Administrative Services, accepted the grant on behalf of Clear Lake. He expressed gratitude for the support that enables the city to develop projects that strengthen connection and remembrance.
