SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - Temperatures will likely stay several degrees above normal for the next few days. This week will end with a better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms and temperatures more typical of the end of summer.

Tuesday temperatures: Daytime temperatures over the past several days have been in the mid to upper 90s over most of the ArkLaTex. That likely won’t change much for the next few days. Temperatures on Tuesday will once again begin slightly above normal in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Daytime highs will likely return to the middle 90s. Expect similar temperatures on Wednesday.
