MUNCIE, IN — The Delaware County Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with the Ball Brothers Foundation and local partners, has launched a new mile-marker system along White River between Yorktown and Daleville.

The 27 reflective markers are designed to give river users and first responders precise location information in emergencies, making rescues faster and safer, according to a news release.
