OAK HARBOR, Ohio — The Oak Harbor Public Library, Local History & Museum Center has announced its participation in the America 250-Ohio celebration.

America 250 marks the semiquincentennial anniversary of the July 4, 1776, founding of United States.

“The museum is thrilled to announce we will be hosting various historical programs, displays, and special events throughout 2026,” Jennifer Wilkins, adult program coordinator, said in a news release. “We will kick off yearlong celebration with ‘Early Hartford (Oak Harbor) History’ which will be held in January 2026. The program depicts the history of Oak Harbor from early settlement to the early 1900s.”
