GROTON, Conn. — Groton police arrested a man Sunday who claimed he accidentally shot a bullet in an apartment building that hit and seriously injured his neighbor living upstairs.
Caleb Bean, 30, of Groton, is facing charges of assault in the first degree, two counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, unlawful discharge of a firearm, two counts of criminal mischief in the third degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
Groton emergency dispatch received multiple 911 calls at 10:52 p.m. Sunday about the incident at a town apartment complex.
