TULSA — Tre Lamb has admired Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy from afar.

“Really, really look up to him as a mentor in our industry,” Lamb said Monday, “and after we play I’d love to pick his brain and learn from him.”

Lamb, the first-year Tulsa coach, will bring his Golden Hurricane to Stillwater on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. game against Gundy and the Cowboys .
