PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Portland police say they have taken nearly $2 million worth of illegal drugs off the streets in a series of recent busts.

According to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), officers spent the past two weeks conducting operations tied to an overdose investigation. The effort led to multiple arrests and the discovery of large amounts of fentanyl, meth, heroin, and cocaine meant for distribution in the Portland area.

In total, police seized:

29 pounds of fentanyl

55.5 pounds of meth

6.6 pounds of heroin

2.2 pounds of cocaine

2 guns

$30,000 in cash

Officials estimate the drugs have a street value of about $1.9 million.

The suspects are facing federal trafficking charges. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
