Hot and mostly dry conditions are expected for the week. Alabama is sitting between an upper-level low off the East Coast and a ridge of high pressure to the northwest. The low will send a few waves across Alabama this evening and Tuesday, setting off a few showers. However, most of you will remain dry all week. Northerly winds will keep the humidity at comfortable levels this week. Fire conditions will increase throughout the week as the flash drought worsens.

Tonight, any showers will end, and it will be mostly clear. Lows will be in the lower to mid-60s.
