MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) - A Berkeley County jury has found a man guilty of several drug trafficking charges.

Cory Gethers, of North Charleston, was found guilty of trafficking fentanyl- 28 grams or more, trafficking cocaine- 28-100 grams, trafficking Cocaine Base (Crack)- 10-28 grams and trafficking methamphetamine- 10-28 grams, according to Solicitor Scarlett Wilson.

Berkeley County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Gethers and three other passengers on Jan. 31, 2024, at 1:10 a.m. Deputies noticed a baggie containing a white powdery substance as well as glass narcotic pipes next to the center console on the driver’s side.
