OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A fifteen-year-old teen appeared before a judge this morning charged in the shooting death of 22-year-old Sirr Bonner in late July.

First Alert 6 is not naming the fifteen-year-old at this time.

A large crowd gathered at Methodist Hospital in the late-night hours of July 26th. Bonner was brought there by private vehicle after being shot, and later died at that hospital.

In court Monday, a fifteen-year-old teenager accused of shooting Bonner appeared before Judge Thomas Harmon.

Prosecutors called Omaha Police Detective Cortes Clark to testify. He outlined what happened that night near 118th and Miami Streets.
