ARLINGTON, Va. — The Arlington County Police Department is warning residents of a planned hours-long training that will take place on Tuesday.

The Arlington County Police Department's Emergency Response Team (ERT) will hold a training exercise in a building along S. Bell Street from 6 p.m. until midnight.

According to ACPD, people living in the area can expect to see an increase in public safety vehicles and law enforcement officers in the area during the training.

"Those in the vicinity of the training may hear noise originating from the building but are reminded that this is a training exercise only," ACPD said in a press release on Monday. "Realistic training is critical to enhancing ACPD's response capabilities and ensuring our officers remain prepared to respond to any public safet
