LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

As Bourbon and Beyond wrapped up Sunday night, the race is now on to prepare the Kentucky Exposition Center for Louder Than Life, which starts Thursday.

According to estimates from Louisville Tourism, 160,000 people are expected to attend the four-day festival this weekend, bringing in an estimated $18.4 million in economic impact.

The two festivals combined are expected to bring in $42.7 million in total estimated economic impact.

Local businesses, especially like the ones near the expo center, are feeling the positive momentum from the festival.

Allie Dasilva, the assistant manager at Craft House Pizza on Preston Highway, said they capitalized on the large crowd nearby and stayed open an hour late.

"We saw about a 10 to 20% increase in sales," Dasilva said. "A lot
