CLAYTON, N.M. (KRQE) – An inmate is accused of murdering another inmate during a brawl earlier this month. Court documents state a large-scale fight erupted at the Northeast New Mexico Correctional Facility in Clayton on September 2.

The documents state that's when 31-year-old Max Aragon stabbed Anibal Ortiz twice in the chest, killing him. Aragon is now facing a second-degree murder charge.
