BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Quality Poultry & Seafood is recalling approximately 98,916 pounds of catfish filets that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Monday .

The catfish fillet items were produced from September 2, 2024, through September 5, 2025, and have various labels with establishment names that have no connection to the cause of the recall.

The following products are subject to recall:

Translucent plastic bag packages containing various pieces of frozen catfish fillet products labeled “VARIED CATFISH MISCUT FILLETS, FARMED RAISED CATFISH PRODUCT OF USA”, and Net Wt. 5#.
