VAN WERT, Oh. (WPTA) - Monday night, hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil was held at Freedom Park in Van Wert, Ohio, to honor and celebrate the life and memory of Charlie Kirk.

A local business owner, Jenna Dailey, helped organize the event alongside various pastors in the community.

“I thought it was really important for us to come together as a community to celebrate and honor the life of Charlie Kirk,” said Dailey.

Dailey says she wasn’t too sure what to expect attendence wise because it was all put together very quickly, but she couldn’t believe how many people came.
