Around 3:26 a.m. on Sept. 13, CHP and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for a sideshow activity that involved more than 100 vehicles blocking the intersection of Pomona Street and Merchant Street, near the I-80 westbound on-ramp/off-ramp for Pomona Street in the Bay Area.

When officers arrived at the scene, they were told that a spectator climbed over the concrete safety barrier at an elevated portion of the Pomona Street on-ramp to I-80 westbound, and fell about 75 feet to the ground below.
