LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Nevada Republican Governor Joe Lombardo launched his bid for re-election with a campaign kick-off event Monday night.
Lombardo held the campaign kick-off at Rancho High School, which is his alma mater.
Governor Lombardo's team touted first-term accomplishments on education, including teacher raises and a bipartisan effort on accountability.
He is seeking to be Nevada's next two-term republican governor, a feat that was last achieved by former governor Brian Sandoval.
Two democrats are vying to run against him, including Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford and Washoe County Commissioner Chair Alexis Hill.
Both candidates spoke to Politics Now host John Langeler, discussing their campaigns and the issues that mean the most to them.
