PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Pitt County Fair is set to kick off tomorrow, and with the sheriff’s office providing security, WITN wanted a look into what work is being done to ensure everyone is safe while having fun.

It’s almost time for family and friends to enjoy the different foods, rides, and activities the Pitt County Fair has to offer.

“I think it will be a fun event to go with my mom and to go eat some good food and look at all the kids riding the rides,” Pitt County resident Emily Porterfield said.

To make sure everyone is safe while enjoying the festivities, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office will be on site with different security measures.
