TOLEDO, Ohio — Dozens of bullets fired at a west Toledo strip mall Monday night caused "extensive damage" to multiple businesses, according to police.
No one was injured in the shooting and only one of the businesses was occupied at the time it happened, a Toledo police detective at the scene on Dorr Street just west of Reynolds Road told WTOL 11.
The detective said police responded to a call of shots fired in the area Monday night and found the damage on arrival, including the windows of at least two businesses shot out and a vehicle struck by gunfire.
The detective added that "several dozen" shots were fired at the scene, saying he couldn't provide a more specific number.
