ATLANTA — A defendant charged in the death of a six-month-old boy remains free on bond despite being arrested on unrelated charges.

On Jan. 24, 2022, Grayson Fleming Gray was riding in a car with his mom when a stray bullet hit and killed him near Anderson Park in northwest Atlanta.

At the time. Sharice Michelle Ingram was charged with being a party to the crime of aggravated assault and party to the crime of felony murder.

During her first court appearance in Fulton County, she was denied bond. 11Alive has learned she is no longer behind bars.

Ingram is now facing unrelated charges in Fayette County. Typically, getting arrested while out on bond would send someone back to jail.

That’s not what happened here, and her attorney said that’s not a mistake.
