Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder investigation after a fight between teenagers and a man at a park on Rycroft Street this afternoon.

Police said in a social media post that at about 2:11 p.m. today, officers responded to the park following reports of several juvenile males fighting with another male.

Upon investigation, police said two 15-year-old males and a 16-year-old male were identified as suspects in this case.

A 23-year-old man was treated and transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

No further details were provided.

Police said the investigation remains active and ongoing, and that additional information will be released when available.
