WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Voters in Wethersfield will decide on a plan to renovate several elementary schools in town on Tuesday. Approving the bond referendum would mean spending $239 million.

Samuel Webb Elementary is not only one of the schools that would be renovated, but it’s also one of the places voters will be going to cast their votes.

The town put together a plan about what it would cost to renovate Webb and Charles Wright Elementary schools and build a whole new Highcrest Elementary, just shy of $240 million.

The Town Council unanimously approved the plan back in June, but now it goes to the voters for their approval.

A yes vote means you approve, and a no vote means you don’t.

This referendum is open to all registered voters in the town of Wethersfield.
