WETHERSFIELD, Conn. — A big decision for the town of Wethersfield fell in the hands of voters on Monday.

A majority of people in town voted "yes," which means three schools will get renovated over the next three years.

The question on the ballot asked if the town should appropriate $239 million for the construction of a new Highcrest Elementary School as well as renovations to Samuel Webb and Charles Wright elementary schools.

Additionally, it asked to authorize the use of the bonds for the projects - up to $88 million worth.
