RIVERVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) - The driver of an ice cream truck has been banned from a shopping plaza off of US-301 after allegedly making a pit stop during his shift to harass and threaten employees at the Cali Cafe in Riverview.

The local coffee shop business is a Riverview staple and has offered Colombian coffee and baked goods for six years.

"There's a lot of intolerance on both sides right now. It's not conclusive to dialogue. Just come in and have a conversation, not this," said the owner, Rick Oliveros.

The incident occurred around midday on Friday, when the man was heard yelling and screaming at baristas over a large Colombian flag that the local business uses as a marker for customers.

"He was telling us that we were illegally flying the flag. That is just my culture, my business,"
