ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The community came together to honor and remember Charlie Kirk’s life.
On Monday hundreds of people gathered at the Anderson Civic Center.
“Charlie Kirk is fine. Not because his body is fine but because his soul is secured in Christ,” Graham Allen part of the College Republicans and Clemson Turning Point USA said.
“Charlie Kirk was a man, a family man that loved his family and his country, but above all else, Charlie Kirk loved his God,” Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette said.
Kirk’s vigil was a moment of remembrance and prayer.
This comes as controversy unfolds at Clemson University . The university fired an employee and two other professors have been removed from their classrooms while being investigated for their social media posts.
