Spain’s national broadcaster has confirmed they will boycott Eurovision next year if Israel is allowed to compete. Spain is one of the “big 5” countries who contribute the most to the European Broadcasting Union and qualify automatically (along with the UK, Germany, France, and Italy). This follows Slovenia, Ireland, and the Netherlands confirming that they will refuse to take part in Eurovision if the EBU does not ban Israel.
