Detroit – Phase one of what is expected to be a rather significant reshaping of the bullpen this week has been transacted.

The Tigers, in a move officially listed on Monday night, recalled lefty Brant Hurter from Triple-A Toledo and optioned right-hander Brenan Hanifee.

Barring an injury, Hanifee won’t be eligible to return for the rest of the regular season. He is still expected to be an option for the postseason roster.
