NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio

Drunken driving, York Road: On Aug. 17, police observed a weaving black SUV weaving while traveling southbound on York Road.

The officer also clocked the vehicle traveling 49 mph in a 35-mph zone of York Road.

While talking to the driver, the officer smelled booze.

Asked about the odor, the man admitted to having two beers, both domestic in nature.

He slurred they were “Bud” beers.

After failing a field sobriety test, during which he swayed, the man was arrested for drunken driving.

He was also cited for speeding and weaving.

The officer noted the man had four prior OVI convictions with the most recent taking place in 2015.
