HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Some people might face traffic disruptions in Hancock County.

Officials say a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) began concrete work along a stretch of eastbound U.S. 60 in Hancock County on September 15 that will result in extended lane closures for the next two months.

The KYTC says crews for the project will be making concrete repairs to both eastbound lanes through November. Drivers should anticipate lane closures between KY 657 at the 1.9 mile marker and Nugent Lane at the 9.35 mile marker until the project is halted in November.
