A 17-year-old was arrested Monday in connection with a northeast valley shooting that left another teenager dead and two others injured, police records show .

Jose Juarez was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure or vehicle, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Booking records show that his arrest was linked to a Monday shooting that left one dead and two injured.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of East Washington Avenue around 1 a.m. Monday in response to a ShotSpotter alert that shots had been fired in the area.
