ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The union representing Boeing workers on strike announced a vote on a union-proposed strike settlement offer.

The IAM Union District 837 Negotiating Committee said that on Friday, members will vote on a union-proposed four-year contract proposal. if the members ratify the offer, it will be submitted to Boeing as a pre-ratified agreement subject to Boeing’s acceptance. If Boeing declines the offer, members will continue to strike.

The offer includes 401(k) contributions in line with other Boeing employees, raises wages for top-of-scale members, and has a ratification bonus compromise comparable to other union and non-union workers at Boeing.

The vote will take place at St. Louis Music Park in Maryland Heights from 8-11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.
