Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to attend an Open House for A.B. Ernst Park expansion on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at A.B. Ernst Park, 723, N. 35 th St., directly west of the Fremont Branch library. This is an opportunity to meet the design team and learn more about the A.B. Park expansion project design, the project schedule and future construction.

In 2024, the project was restarted when funding was re-allocated, after the pandemic, to the park development with the passing of the second Seattle Park District Cycle (2023 – 2028). We are currently re-permitting and finalizing the construction documents.
