TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A California man was arrested in Leon County after being accused of sending explicit messages on social media with a minor.
Aakash Nagavalli, 30, is charged with two counts of out-of-state transmission of harmful material to a minor and online solicitation of a minor.
According to arrest papers, an adult close to the child reported the crime to Tallahassee Police. They told TPD they looked through the child’s phone and found an explicit photo.
TPD then looked through Snapchat and found a graphic conversation between Nagavalli and the child in which they exchanged photos and texts.
Nagavalli pleaded not guilty on Monday.
