TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A man has been taken into custody after allegedly punching a 14-year-old boy in the face as he was walking to a bus stop on Monday morning.

Joshua Pierce, 42, was booked into the Pima County Jail and charged with aggravated assault and robbery.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident happened in the early morning of Sept. 15 near 29th Street and Columbus Boulevard.

TPD said the 14-year-old victim was walking to a bus stop to go to school when he passed a pickup truck parked on the street. The boy was confronted by two men on the sidewalk before one of them punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.
