A grieving dad said his future had been "stolen" by a reckless Birmingham driver who killed his wife as she drove her family to a college open day.

Anayat Ur-Rehman smashed into a Ford Fiesta as he undertook it while speeding - sending the Fiesta careering across a central reservation and into an Audi containing Abigail and Ryan Hudson and their two daughters.

Teacher Abigail was killed instantly and their youngest child, then just ten, suffered what police called “catastrophic injuries”, including a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain, which will affect her for life.
