A man was seriously hurt after he was punched in the face at the side of a Midland swimming pool.
Police said the man, in his 50s, was assaulted inside the leisure centre at about 2.20pm on Sunday, September 7.
He needed treatment in hospital for his injuries after collapsing to the ground and hitting his head.
Leicestershire Police said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a report of assault at a Leicester leisure centre.
"The incident happened at around 2.20pm on Sunday, September 7, at premises in Beaumont Way, Beaumont Leys.
