NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A former student is facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder after allegedly being found with weapons and making threats toward a school in Franklin County.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) arrested the juvenile on Tuesday morning.

The juvenile was found in Huntland, two blocks away from a school, with a sword, a bow, arrows, knives and other personal belongings, according to the sheriff’s office.

FCSO was made aware of the teen on Sept. 15 after school officials notified deputies about multiple student statements regarding the juvenile that caused concern among students and staff.

The juvenile was charged with the following:

Three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder

Threats of Mass Violence

Unlawful Carrying and Possession of a W
