EAST BOSTON, Mass. —
Crews aboard three flights reported that they were targeted by a green laser while in the air near Boston Logan International Airport on Monday evening, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The incidents involved United Airlines Flight 2356, Southwest Airlines Flight 559 and Republic Airways Flight 4580 on Monday night, according to an FAA spokesperson. Latest Forecast

The FAA said no injuries were reported. The agency notified local authorities and will investigate.
“Shining a laser at an aircraft poses a serious safety threat and is a federal crime,” the FAA said in a statement. "Lasers can incapacitate pilots, many of whom are flying airplanes with hundreds of passengers."
