MADISON (WKOW) -- Mason Crosby, the former star kicker for the Green Bay Packers, was back in the Badger State Tuesday for a luncheon supporting cancer research at the Carbone Cancer Center.

The all-time leading scorer was with his wife, Molly, to support the innovative research being done at the center.

Crosby highlighted the help and support his own family received from the Carbone Center during the event.

"My wife Molly had lung cancer back in 2019 so the the more we can do to support, help grow the research and the funding to to help the fight against cancer, we're gonna, we're gonna step in," said Crosby.

The Andy North and Friends luncheon, since its inception in 2009, has raised more than $20 million for the UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center .
