A 'kind and caring' young footballer from Lancashire died at just 25 after a burst cyst caused him to develop sepsis. Jordan Thomas passed away on Saturday, September 13, leaving behind his four-year-old daughter.

The young father from Leyland was surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday after being in hospital for two days.

JT, as he was lovingly known, was deeply involved in local football , playing for AFC Bamber, Buckshaw FC, and Sir Tom Finney FC, with his team mates setting up a fundraiser for his daughter and the funeral costs, which has gathered more than £4,000 in three days, Lancs Live reports .
