Multiple Nevada legislators have received threats in the last week that law enforcement has since responded to, a source close to the situation confirmed to the Sun today.

Speaking to reporters Monday after a press conference, state Sen. Dina Neal, D-North Las Vegas, said five legislators got the bomb threat following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.

Neal said she “was mistakenly included in that list.”

“While I was rushing home to my son, I didn’t have a plan for what happens if my house blows up,” she said, tears falling down her face. “I didn’t have a plan for what happens if Assemblywoman Monroe-Moreno was found dead.”
