The Clark County School District has opened a three-week community survey to gauge public opinion on a proposal to push back all school start times by 30 minutes beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, officials said in a news release
The survey, which launched Thursday and runs through 5 p.m. Oct. 17, asks parents, guardians, students and district staff to weigh in on the potential schedule change. District officials say the survey takes approximately three minutes to complete.
Most Clark County high schools begin classes at 7 a.m. Under the proposed change, those schools would start at 7:30 a.m., with corresponding adjustments across all grade levels.
“We are asking our entire community to participate in this survey to get an accurate pulse on the topic,” CCSD Superintendent Jhone Ebe
