RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A Columbia man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after authorities say he was caught with fentanyl, crack cocaine, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
William Justin Marshall, 43, received the sentence for possession with the intent to distribute the illegal drugs, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina.
The case began when a Richland County deputy stopped a car in which Marshall was a passenger. A K-9 officer alerted to the vehicle, and deputies searched it, finding a digital scale with white residue that field tested positive for cocaine. Both Marshall and the driver denied ownership and were charged.
