TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Tuscaloosa County School System has officially posted the job listing for the position of superintendent.

According to the job application, the position pays a minimum of $200,000 a year.

Dan Butler is the interim superintendent, but Butler has already said he doesn’t want to take the full time position because he’s coming out of retirement to serve as interim.

In fact, this is Butler’s second time to serve as the interim for Tuscaloosa County schools.

Superintendent Dr. Keri Johnson resigned earlier in Sept. to take the superintendent’s post in Pelham .

School district leaders hope to find their new superintendent by the end of the fall.
