GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Kinston Plaza post office partially reopened Tuesday for the first time in two years.

The post office isn’t fully open, but residents can access their P.O. boxes at this location.

There is currently no counter service and no set date for when that service will return.

The post office is the last to reopen in the Plaza after the tornado in 2023 tore through the area.

This comes after Kinston Mayor Don Hardy assured the public that the post office would reopen in May.
