HILO, Hawaii (Island News) -- Former UFC star B.J. Penn was arrested again on Monday for violating the protective order his mother filed against him.
Police officers responded to a house on Puueo Street on Monday afternoon, Sept. 15, where Penn, 46, entered the home. With his entry, he violated the protective order of his 79-year-old mother Lorraine Shin.
Penn was later arrested in the area without incident. He was charged on Tuesday, Sept. 16, for violating the order for protection. His bail was set at $2,000, which he later posted.
Shin recently sought out to extend the restraining order against her son last month.
