SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A fundraiser was held to honor a 5-year-old girl who was tragically killed in Screven County while waiting for her school bus.

Billie Jo’s Place, a restaurant in downtown Sylvania, hosted the fundraiser on Tuesday to support the family of Kyliegh Roper. According to the Georgia State Patrol, Roper was hit by a car on September 11 on White Hill Road after she reportedly “darted into the roadway”.
