EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Following this past weekend's Mayor's Cup on the soccer field, the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana are set to continue the rivalry in women's volleyball.

The two teams are scheduled to play a home and home series this week. Last year, the Screaming Eagles won both matches against the Purple Aces with the final matchup coming down to a fifth set. USI head coach, Jeffrey Aucoin said besides the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament he circles these matches on his calendar.

"It's loud, it's hot, you know it's a small space," Aucoin said. "You know UE definitely has home court advantage when it comes to facilities. But I think that again is what makes the rivalry so special. And for both of us being able to host each other is huge."
