Ricky Hatton’s son has released a gut-wrenching statement after news of his father’s passing.
British boxing legend Hatton was found dead at the age of 46 on September 14 with Greater Manchester Police confirming the news and saying the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Tributes poured in for the people’s champion and multi-world champion who is survived by three children, including son Campbell.
The 24-year-old, who became a boxer himself and was even trained by his father, posted on social media following the tragic loss.
“Heartbroken isn’t the word,” he wrote. “Everybody has always said I was your double and never a truer word said.
“Looked up to you in every aspect of life. Can’t explain how much I’m going to miss the laughs we had and all the good times which I will re
